1. Salt Dough Ornaments:
Recipe:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes
- Roll out the dough till its about 1/2 cm
- Use the cookie cutters to create your desired shapes
- Bake the ornaments for about 1-2 hours
- Let them cool and PAINT!
2. Dried Orange Slices:
Recipe:
- Begin my slices up the oranges, the thinner you slice it the faster it will bake
- Bake it at 200• F for about 2 hours, make sure to keep flipping it every 30 minutes
- Let them bake till its a little brown around the edges
- Lastly, string up the oranges with twine
3. Christmas Tree Mason Jars:
Recipe:
- Lay down the painters tape and draw your desired shape on the tape, say a Christmas tree
- Cut out the design and then stick it on the flat side of your jar
- Paint on top of the jars and tape with your chalky paint
- Once the paint is dry you can remove the painters tape
- Throw in desired amount of epsom salts into the jar
- Place the tea light candle inside of the jar, on top of the epsom salts
- Lastly, string the silver bells around the neck of the jar
4. Clary Star Garland:
Recipe:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
- Then place it over a high hit, stirring continuously
- Once it starts bubbling turn it down to a medium heat and keep stirring
- Continue stirring till it thickens and gets too hard to stir anymore, now it should be clay
- Roll out the clay with a rolling pin till about 1 inch thick
- Make stars with your star cookie cutter
- Then bake it in an oven at 170•F for about 2 hours
- Lastly, let it cool and then wrap a string of wire around the stars to hang on the tree
